This Is Us is an emotional drama TV series created by Dan Fogelman which follows the Pearson family. The show centres on triplets who are all born on the same day as their Father. After one of the triplets dies, the family adopts Randall, a child born the same day and brought to the same hospital after his biological father abandons him at a fire station. The show features an ensemble cast starring Milo Ventimiglia, Mandy Moore, Sterling K. Brown, Chrissy Metz, Justin Hartley, Susan Kelechi Watson, Chris Sullivan, Ron Cephas Jones, Jon Huertas and Alexandra Breckenridge.

Ordinarily, the NBC series airs every Tuesday night but due to the Winter Olympics, the studio have instead filled the slot with a prime time block of snowboarding, bobsledding, alpine skiing and figure skating from the festivities in Pyeongchang, South Korea.

This Is Us has now gone two weeks in a row without a new episode but fear not, as Lead Actor Mandy Moore has assured fans that a new episode will air next week on Feb. 27.

The show is currently in its second season run, having been picked up by NBC for a total of three. This Is Us mostly takes place in four different time periods, 1980-1981, 1988–1990, 1995–1998 and the present day. The last two episodes have consisted of Super Bowl and family-car themed stories with next weeks episode expected to take place at a bachelor party. The series is set in number of different locations including Los Angeles, New Jersey and New York City. There have been 33 episodes aired so far.

Creator Dan Fogelman is best known for his work as a screenwriter, penning scripts for Tangled, Crazy Stupid Love and Cars. He also created the baseball-themed dramedy Pitch, which was cancelled after one season.
