Developed by Luminous Productions — the team behind Final Fantasy XV — Forspoken “Worlds Collide” tells the story of Freya, an ordinary New Yorker who finds herself transported to Athia, a magical world teeming with monsters and magic. Players will help guide Freya through these various obstacles and battles on her quest to return back to the real world using her newfound magical abilities. When Does Forspoken Release on PS5?

Forspoken has once again been delayed, and is now set to release on Jan. 24, 2023. The initial release date was slated for May 24, 2022.

The first delay came back in March, as it was stated that the game wouldn’t be coming out until Oct. 11, 2022.

In the announcement, developer Luminous Productions said:

“Our vision for this exciting new IP is to deliver a game world and hero that gamers across the globe will want to experience for years to come, so getting it right is extremely important to us.

To that end, during the next few months we will focus all of our efforts on polishing the game and can’t wait for you to experience Frey’s journey this fall.”

Is Forspoken Coming to PS4?

Unfortunately, no, Forspoken is not coming to PS4. The game is instead an exclusive for the PlayStation 5, and showcases what’s capable on Sony’s latest hardware with stunning visuals and a plethora of particle effects that look sure to bring the game’s combat to life.
