Star Wars: Skeleton Crew Release Date

The Star Wars Celebration on YouTube and Twitter has confirmed that Star Wars: Skeleton Crew will release in 2023. Jude Law will make his debut in the franchise as an unknown character in a story set to occur post-Return of the Jedi, similar to the timeline in The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett. The series is being headed up by Spider-Man: Homecoming director Jon Watts and the movie’s writer, Chris Ford. Star Wars alums Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni will also join alongside them as producers.

The plot of Skeleton Crew is a secret, but there have been reports of a casting notice for four children around 11 to 12 years old. The show’s title had been previously codenamed “Grammar Rodeo” in reference to an episode of The Simpsons where Bart and his classmates steal a car. So this name could hint at what the series will entail, or maybe it will pan out to be an inside joke.

The show is said to be a galactic, coming-of-age story with themes inspired by 80s adventure films, as noted in the Vanity Fair Cover Issue: Star Wars: The Rebellion Will Be Televised. In addition, several other series, including Ahsoka, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Andor, are also presented in this exclusive cover, increasing the excitement of Star Wars fans even more.

So, now that you know when Star Wars: Skeleton Crew Starring Jude Law Releases, you can look forward to it arriving on the streaming platform in the future. If you want more Star Wars Content, check out the relevant links below and stay tuned for Disney+ streaming date guides here on Twinfinite.
