When Does Overwatch 2 PvP Beta Release?

While Blizzard hasn’t given us a concrete date, we do know that the Overwatch 2 PvP beta will be releasing on April 26. There is a caveat, however; the beta will only be available on PC in select regions.

The developers have yet to reveal which regions will be able to participate, but you can sign up for the beta via the game’s official website for a chance to get in.

New Modes and Heroes

Blizzard also gave a few details regarding what the beta will entail, and players will be able to get a taste of the new 5v5 format, as well as the new Push mode where teams must attempt to get a robot over the finish line while pushing each other back.

Here’s what will be included in the beta:

  • 5v5
  • New Hero: Sojourn
  • New Maps
  • New Mode:Push
  • Hero Reworks
  • New Ping System

One other thing to note is that this beta will not include any of the PvE content that was previously unveiled. In their developer update, Blizzard also stated that the PvP and PvE portions of the game will be released separately so that they’re able to release content earlier and give the fan base something to enjoy while the team works on other modes.

That’s all you need to know about when the Overwatch 2 PvP beta is set to release. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more news and information about the game.
