LEGO’s latest video game adaptation puts a focus on puzzle-solving via a brick-building mechanic that embodies the spirit of the beloved toy franchise, but when does LEGO Bricktales come out? Here’s what you need to know.
When Does LEGO Bricktales Come Out?
LEGO Bricktales is set to launch at some point in 2022, but no firm release date has yet been disclosed. So far, we only have a very broad launch window of this year. The game does, however, have a Steam page already, and you’re even able to wishlist it so that you’re able to check it out as early as possible.

“Embark on an epic adventure across a world of beautiful Lego diorama biomes crafted brick by brick as you search for inspiration to help your grandfather reinvigorate his rundown amusement park with your little robot buddy in tow,” it reads.
The game is set to feature 5 different LEGO-themed biomes and use an intuitive new brick-by-brick building mechanic. As previously reported, can get an impression of how it will play via the recent launch trailer embedded below.
As for how likely the game is to make its 2022 scheduled launch, we can’t be certain. We do know, however, that the team at Clockstone and Thunderfall games have already been working on Bricktales for two years. In a recent press release, Dieter Schoeller, vice-president of publishing at Thunderful said “After more than two years, it feels incredible to finally announce what we have been working on behind closed doors.”
