343 Industries was always clear about its vision for Halo Infinite’s multiplayer as a live service package, but while it’s been great to see the developer kick things off with a solid first season of content, news has been sparse about a second. When Does Halo Infinite Season 2 Start? Answered
Halo Infinite’s second season begins May 3, 2022. Developer 343 Industries made the announcement earlier today (Friday, April 8), in tandem with a new video trailer teasing some of the content to come. The season is called Lone Wolves, and it will add a new battle pass system, new maps, and additional modes.
What Is in Halo Infinite Season 2? Answered
As detailed over on the Halo Waypoint blog earlier this month, the modes include a free-for-all elimination mode called Last Spartan Standing, as well as a new one called Land Grab, and an updated version of King of the Hill.
For those looking forward to the game’s next battle pass, Season 2 will feature a free battle pass track that is said to include more customization options than in season 1. You can also earn 1,000 Halo Credits, for the first time, too. You can actually see some of the new customization rewards can be seen in the trailer above.

Unfortunately, the anticipated campaign co-operative functionality isn’t coming with Season 2. We’ll have to wait a little bit longer for that — no firm date has yet been disclosed.
