FUT Champs graces Ultimate Team once again, giving players yet another opportunity to compete for even more special rewards over the course of several matches. So with the weekend upon us, here’s everything you need to know about when FUT Champs starts in FIFA 23.
FIFA 23 FUT Champs Start Time
FUT Champs kicked off at Midnight PST on Friday, Oct. 7, 2022, and runs for 72 hours until Monday, Oct. 10, 2022. Players can expect that same schedule every week for the foreseeable future from here on out.
How Do Players Qualify for FUT Champs?
In order to qualify for FUT Champs in FIFA 23, players need to earn a certain amount of qualification points through Division Rivals. To qualify, you’ll need to bank 1,250 points. However, players do not need to get them all in one week to qualify, as points do roll over.
That said, once you do have enough points to enter the competition, you’ll still have to qualify for the FUT Champs Finals. In order to do this, players must earn 20 points over 10 qualification matches—which translates to five wins—in order to move on to the next round.
FUT Champs Rewards
As is always the case, these game modes do ramp up the rewards depending on how well you do. This is arguably FIFA’s most competitive game mode, after all. Here’s the ranking breakdown:
- Rank VII – 4-11pts
- Rank VI – 12-19pts
- Rank V – 20-25pts — Finals Qualification
- Rank IV – 26-31pts
- Rank III – 32-35pts
- Rank II -36-39pts
- Rank I – 40pts
FUT Champs Re-Entry
If players do qualify for the Finals, that opens up an entirely different ranking/rewards system. For now, though, let’s concentrate on what happens if you don’t qualify for the Finals.
For those who fall short of the 20-point threshold required, they’ll simply have to go back through Division Rivals to win more matches and earn enough points to qualify again. FUT Seasons run for six weeks at a time, giving players up to seven FUT Champs entries. Those reset once a new season begins.
