Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile Release Date

At the time of writing, Activision has yet to announce an official release date for the mobile version of CoD Warzone.

Given the publisher and developer has only just started recruiting for additional hires to help them create the mobile version, we wouldn’t expect the game to be coming imminently.

However, with the developer also revealing that a new Modern Warfare and console/ PC Warzone experience were due to release before the end of 2022, there’s always the possibility the mobile version could also release alongside them.

Unfortunately, there’s not much else to go on currently. The job listing and information shared by Activision is very limited and vague, likely to avoid spoiling the surprise of the big gameplay reveal when they’re in a position to do so.

Once we’ve got more information on the CoD Warzone mobile release date, we’ll update this post and let you know.

What Do we Know About Warzone Mobile?

The official post does state that the mobile version will be built natively for mobile devices. That means that it won’t just be a straight port of the PC version with downscaled resolution and visuals.

The mention that it’s being “designed to entertain gamers around the world for many years to come,” also suggests that it’ll be frequently updated with new maps and weapons, likely to come as part of new seasons. Whether these will fall in-line with the new season releases for the PC and console versions of the game, however, remains to be seen.

That’s everything you need to know on when Call of Duty Warzone for mobile releases. For more, be sure to search for Twinfinite or see more of our CoD Warzone coverage below.
