It also appears to play a large part in the story for this season, too, and all of that means we’ve got a hefty update on our hands to install before we can start playing.

We’ve gone ahead and checked and confirmed the size of the update on each platform and listed them for you below.

  • PS5: 8.915 GB
  • Xbox Series X|S: 11.50 GB
  • PC: TBC

It’s worth noting that these are fairly hefty updates, and so if you’ve got a slower internet connection, it might take you a little while to get the update finished and ready to dive into the new season.

Connecting your console or PC to your router with an Ethernet connection is one of the best ways to increase your download speeds and get the update done faster, if you’re able to do so.

Popular leaker Guille_GAG has also noted that the install sizes will be larger than 12GB on both PlayStation and Xbox if you have Save the World installed, the PvE mode for the game. If you don’t, you’ll get the smaller install sizes noted above.
