According to a post from Overwatch’s official Twitter, Bastion is temporarily removed from the game to fix character bugs from his ability kit. In addition, Torbjorn will not be available in ranked matches, but players can still use him in other modes, like Quick Play and Training games.

Issues with Bastion’s performance began when several users noted a glitch in his Ultimate attack. With this bug, players could use this perk by shooting as many times as they want, despite having a three-bullet limit.

You can check out a glimpse of this feature from this Twitter user here:

As for Torbjorn, this Attack hero has a bug that allows players to extend the time limit of his Overload ability, making him a lot harder to kill. Therefore, the character is now locked in Competitive mode because of its unfair advantage over other users.

Unfortunately, Blizzard Entertainment has not provided details about Bastion’s return to Overwatch 2 or Torbjorn’s reinstatement in ranked matches. So, for now, players must experience the game with the remaining cast until the developers resolve the problem.
