We Happy Few: Is it Xbox One X Enhanced?

Is We Happy Few Xbox One X Enhanced? Here’s What You Need to Know

Recommended Videos

The Xbox One X is nearing almost a year on the market now, having released in November last year, and developers are still keen to make the most of all that extra horsepower. We’ve already seen the likes of No Man’s Sky, Far Cry 5, and Dark Souls Remastered all make use of the Xbox One X’s superior power, and that’s likely got people wondering whether Compulsion Games’ We Happy Few is due to do the same.

Well, we have good news once again, as We Happy Few is Xbox One X enhanced. However, what is worth noting, is that we don’t know exactly to what extent We Happy Few will stretch the Xbox One X, and generally how much better it’ll look on the system.

While we know, thanks to the official Xbox One X enhanced list, that We Happy Few is enhanced for the hardware and will don a 4K resolution, it doesn’t seem like HDR will be used. If this is correct, it does seem a little odd, particularly with how great the combination of 4K and HDR can make an image look. Particularly when you take a look at all the vibrant colors littered throughout We Happy Few that would certainly pop that little bit more if HDR was implemented.

Unfortunately, outside of the planned 4K resolution, we don’t know a whole lot else about what the game’s Xbox One X enhancement will bring to the table. As soon as we know for sure, we’ll update this post and let you know.

That’s all there is to know regarding We Happy Few on Microsoft’s headline home console right now. For more tips, tricks, and information on the game, be sure to check out our wiki.
