Season 5 has just begun and a train has arrived in Verdansk. Not only is a great means of travel but it’s also the perfect place to find loot and mount up to begin an assault. If you’re looking to use it to your advantage in a match, here’s everything you need to know about the Warzone train, including how to find it and how to get onboard.
Warzone Train Explained
The train isn’t an event like Fire Sale or Jailbreak. Instead, you’ll see it rolling around the tracks that circle the Western area of the map. From the south coast near Port, it’ll circle north and around past Airport before coming along the western edge, past Boneyard and Storage Town.
It’s pretty big, so you’ll see it if you’re nearby, but you can also track its location by looking at the map. The train and its carriages will be on the map, as you can see in the screenshot below, and the icons will move as it does. Simply keep an eye on your map and try to cut it off at the nearest point to you.
How to Get Onboard
Thankfully, it’s very easy to get on the Warzone train in Season 5. It’s not moving very fast, so as long as you approach it at the right angle, you can simply jump onto any of the lower bits. You will then be able to leap onto the covered tanks and boxes to get to different parts, maybe opening the loot crates you see as you go.
Do be warned though, the train will be very busy at the start of Season 5, so expect some resistance when trying to board it and some attacks once you’re onboard.
