How to Run Away in Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars

To run away, simply press the Options button on PlayStation or the + button on Switch during a battle. Depending on your party’s strength when compared to the enemy’s, it may be tough to escape.

In true tabletop RPG fashion, you’ll need to roll some dice to determine your fate. Earn a certain number or above to succeed in running away from battle. Before attempting the roll, the game will tell you your odds of success and the number that you need to hit, so you can decide whether it’s worth potentially wasting a turn or not.

The red text is what you should be paying attention to when attempting to run away in Voice of Cards, just like in the image above. In that example, rolling two dice while aiming for a four or greater should give your party good odds.
