Best Sensitivity For Valorant
Ultimately, sensitivity settings are preference, and no two players will necessarily be exactly the same on which they find best. That being said, you can keep in mind some general rules of thumb to at least help find a baseline to then fine tune.
Before you adjust your in-game sensitivity, turn off the mouse acceleration that Windows typically has on as standard. You can find this by searching ‘Mouse Settings,’ then from the tab that opens click ‘Additional mouse options’ > ‘pointer options’ > untick ‘Enhanced pointer precision.’
From there, it’s worth attempting to discover your mouse DPI. This is the ‘dots per inch’ that your mouse moves. If you own a gaming mouse, you can adjust this via its custom software or likely by pressing a button on the hardware. Otherwise, use a DPI calculator to work it out.
For reference, most professional Valorant esports players use 400-800 DPI typically.
In terms of in-game sensitivity, we recommend anywhere from 0.2-0.4 for those using 800DPI. Anything below or above that would be considered especially low or high.
Valorant Crosshair Settings
In addition to adjusting your sensitivity, you can also further customize your crosshairs by changing the opacity, line thickness, and bloom options. All of this can be done under the general tab. Twinfinite has a dedicated article explaining how to adjust your crosshair. Twinfinite has also written a list of some of the best crosshairs used by professional esports players and Valorant influencers.
