Valheim is a survival RPG that takes place in a procedurally generated world, seeing you travel between various different biomes, starting in a meadow. Even in early access, the game is beautiful, so it’s nice to put the world front and center while you play by hiding the HUD. If you’d rather remove all the inventory and world indicators, here’s everything you need to know about how to hide the HUD in Valheim.
By default, you’ll usually see your items in the top left of the screen, a mini-map in the top right, and various other icons across the screen to help you work out where you’re going in the world. Since Valheim is all about exploration and trying to survive, is arguably more immersive without the HUD in the way.
