How to Make Frost Resistance Mead in Valheim

Before you even think about making Frost Resistance Mead you’ll need to have reached the Bronze Age. You can learn how to make Bronze tools here.

Bronze tools are required to make both a Cauldron and Fermenter. Cauldrons are used to make Mead bases, which in turn, you’ll drop into a Fermentor to craft into useful potions, including Frost Resistance Mead.

Cauldrons simply require x10 Tin, and you’ll unlock the recipe after you have Smelted Tin for the first time.

You will need the following supplies to craft a Fermentor if you haven’t already:

  • Fine wood x30
  • Bronze x5
  • Resin x10

Now you have your Fermentor, it’s time to make your Frost Resistance Mead, which requires the following resources:

  • Honey x10
  • Thistle x5
  • Bloodbag x2
  • Greydwarf eye x1

All of those resources are pretty common, so you shouldn’t have much difficulty finding them. Perhaps the only challenging one is the Bloodbags, which you’ll need to harvest from Leeches in the Swamp.
