WoW Battle for Azeroth: How to Unlock the Void Elf Race

How to Unlock the Void Elf Race

Recommended Videos

The World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth expansion is out on August 14, 2018 and with it, is the addition of a variety of allied races to play as. During the events on Argus, Alleria Windrunner, hero of the Alliance, became the first mortal to harness the powers of the void. From here she has worked to create one of these new allied races, the Void Elf.

To unlock the Void Elf race you will only have to complete three steps, though each will be more of a time investment than the last. The first requirement is to hit level 110 on an Alliance character. Spare being a Horde-only player, most should already have this one covered. This will also be required for getting to Argus, where you will continue your journey in unlocking this race.

The next requirement includes acquiring the achievement You Are Now Prepared. While this is a bit more time consuming than just getting to 110, it should be fairly simple for most players with experience in Legion’s end game content. Once you get to Argus you will just have to play through the main questline. This can be completed in roughly two to three hours.

Once you have completed the Argus storyline you will unlock new world quests. Now it is time to grind as you must become exalted with the Argussian Reach. This will require days, if not weeks, of grinding out reputation through world quests. To supplement this, you should spend some time on follower missions as you will occasionally be able to earn massive amounts of reputation from the Argussian Reach Insignia reward.

After this you will be able to head back to Stormwind and take part in a scenario. Here you will venture back to Argus and the void after which you will have unlocked the Void Elves as a playable race.

That does it for how to unlock the Void Elf in World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth. Best of luck out there!
