twelve minutes key

Twelve Minutes is a new interactive thriller game from Annapurna Interactive and Luis Antonio. It tells the story of a man trapped in a time loop, who is forced to figure out the mystery behind his wife’s past and try to find a way to break out of the loop itself. The entire game is a puzzle box, and it can be a little tricky to figure out how to progress at times. Here’s what to do with the key in Twelve Minutes.

What to Do With the Key in Twelve Minutes

At the very start of the game, the man will only have one item in his inventory: the house keys. These were used to unlock the front door, and after that, there’s seemingly no more use for this mundane item. However, it can actually come in pretty handy when you’re exploring the apartment.

There are ventilator grills located in the living room, bedroom, and bathroom. You can use the key to open the grills with ease, which means that you don’t actually need to take the kitchen knife at all. The key will allow you to access whatever’s behind those grills and should make your loops a bit more efficient since you can skip grabbing the knife and go straight for the grills.

Aside from that, there doesn’t seem to be much use for the key itself. Once you’ve opened up the grills, you can leave it in your inventory and you won’t need to touch it for the rest of the loop.

That’s all you need to know about what to do with the key in Twelve Minutes. Be sure to search Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
