Tunic: How to Stop Burn Damage (Put Yourself Out When on Fire)

Tunic’s big quirk is the fact that it doesn’t really tell you anything outside of the vague clues in the instruction manual pages you’ll find as you explore the world and progress through the game. It’s great, until something as menial as a fire attack from an enemy can see your furry fox friend burn up and die. In this guide, we’ll explain how to stop taking burn damage in Tunic, so you can continue on with your adventure and put those pesky enemies in their place.

How to Put Yourself Out When on Fire in Tunic

To stop taking burn damage, all you need to do is use your dodge roll (A) a few times in a row. Do this as quickly as your stamina gauge will allow you to, and after a few rolls, you should find that your fox is no longer on fire or taking damage.

There’s no other way you can stop burn damage from occurring, so don’t try looking for water or even trying to use one of your healing potions. They may replenish your health, but the fire will keep on burning and chipping away at your health after you’ve used one until you dodge roll yourself out.

That’s everything you need to know on how to put yourself out when on fire in Tunic. For more tips, tricks and guides, search for Twinfinite or see more of our coverage on the game below.
