How to Get Knowledge in Tropico 6
Tropico 6, like the previous games in the series, is all about managing and developing your own nation through multiple different historical ages. Alongside organizing what you already have, you need to do everything you can to take your nation forward. Here’s everything you need to know about how to get Knowledge in Tropico 6.
Knowledge is what is used to unlock new items and advancements in the Tropico 6 research tree. As you get more knowledge, you’re able to unlock new things that allow you to make the most of your nation and progress into the next age in the game.
Thankfully, there are a few ways to get knowledge, most of which are to do with developing certain buildings. The list of buildings that get you knowledge in Tropico 6 is:
- Libraries
- Observatories
- Research labs
- Science labs
- Space programs
- Upgraded Highschools and Colleges
Do note that buildings such as Libraries only get you knowledge when someone is there working. If they’re off doing something else in their daily lives, your collection of knowledge will stop increasing.
You can also upgrade the likes of the library to increase how quickly it gets you knowledge. The ability to upgrade, as well as some of the buildings that are helpful themselves, will only be available in the latter ages in Tropico 6.
You should also be able to buy points to spend on the research tree from the Broker once you get to the World Wars era of the game. You’ll be able to use the money stored in the game’s Swiss Bank Account. As usual, though, what the Broker offers you is randomly generated, so you might be disappointed.
