What Is the Difference Between Perfect Decipher & Forced Decipher?

If you want to unlock password chests in Tower of Fantasy, you’ll need to use deciphers to be able to open them. The first option, Perfect Decipher, is a mechanic that gives you a lot more resources of better quality, but the catch is that you must give up one of your password items, like the Type 1 Chip. However, the Forced Decipher doesn’t require you to do this exchange and will provide you with fewer rewards and a lower value rate.

So, you can choose whichever option seems best for you, especially if you don’t have enough resources to unlock it with Perfect Decipher. Additionally, opening a certain amount of chests will level up your character and allow you to claim exclusive items in Weekly Mission Rewards and the Achievements section. That being said, we recommend choosing Perfect Decipher whenever possible, since getting more rewards is always better.

To earn materials for the Perfect Decipher, you must partake in activities, including Bounty Missions and weekly tasks. With these options, you can choose an adventure to go on that gives you the tools you need for the chest.

That’s everything you need to know about the difference between the Perfect and Forced Decipher of Tower of Fantasy.
