Finding the create a skater option can be a little confusing at first. It’s buried in the skater menu. So when you first boot up the game, you’ll want to tab over to the skater tab in the main menu.

From here, you’ll want to click triangle/Y to open up a new menu, which will allow you to either switch to a professional skater or create your own.

Click on any of the empty slots to being creating your new skater. You’ll then be met with a screen that allows you to change the name, hometown, and even style of skater you want to create.

Once you’ve finished editing all of that information, your skater is almost complete! You can then change the appearance of your skater. There are plenty of hairstyles, facial hair, makeup, and tattoos to choose from.

After you’ve done this, your new skater is all good to go! It’s worth mentioning your stat point values are determined by which type of skater you chose in the first menu.

You can, of course, build up your stats by collecting all of the stat points throughout the levels of the game so you can max out all of your stats eventually.

You can check how many stat points you’ve collected in each level by hovering over the level in the Skate Tours menu.
