Titanfall 2: All Game Modes and What They Are

Game Modes – Titanfall 2

Recommended Videos

In order to give you plenty of reasons to shoot Pilots and Titans alike, Titanfall 2 has a number of different game modes for you to try out. While some of them resemble slightly altered versions of game modes from its predecessor, there are some brand new game modes in Titanfall 2, as well.

Here’s the full list of game modes in Titanfall 2 and what the description for each one is.

Bounty Hunt – Kill enemies to earn money. Earn more by ‘banking’ your bonus at designated locations.

Amped Hardpoint – Capture and hold a Hardpoint to earn points. Amped Hardpoints give double points.

Last Titan Standing – All players start in Titans in this round-based elimination match-up. The winner is the first to 4 rounds won.

Free for All – Every pilot for themselves. Kill all enemies.

Attrition – You’ll kill a combination of both AI-controlled soldiers, and player-controller Pilots. More points are scored for killing Pilots. Team with the most points wins.

Capture the Flag – Steal the enemy flag and return it to your base while stopping the enemy from taking your flag.

Pilots vs. Pilots – Kill enemy Pilots. Titanfalls not permitted.

Coliseum – One on one combat with enhanced mobility in a cage. Kill your opponent, win a round. Best 3 out of 5 wins an advocate gift reward.

Variety – Varying playing counts on a randomly selected map. The game mode will be randomly selected from the first six game modes listed in this guide.

8v8 Variety – Like variety, but you’ll be playing with more players on each team.

Private Match Beta – Here, you can set the map, game mode, and rules and invite your friends to play in a private match. This mode is still currently in beta so there may be a couple of issues with it.

That’s all of the game modes on offer in Titanfall 2. For more tips, tricks, and guides, be sure to check back with Twinfinite.
