While you’re able to battle against wild Temtem to improve your existing squad of creatures or make changes to it, you can come across real-world players as you explore the world, some of whom could be your friends.

How to Add Friends in Temtem

Thankfully, it’s pretty easy. What you need to do is open up the menu by pressing ESC on your keyboard, click on the icon that looks like two people, then choose Interact from the set of options that drops down below it.

Selecting that will open up a list on the right side of the screen. It’ll show you all the players in your current lobby and a Tamer Search option. To add friends via their ID, select the search option and type it in.

Your friend will have to go to their profile in Temtem and tell you what their username is, and you’ll then have to input it and wait for your friend to accept it from the Notifications menu. Once it is all confirmed, you’ll find them in your friends section.

You’ll then be able to play with them, battle them, or trade with them whenever you’d like.
