You’ll unlock fast travel points naturally as you visit more locations while exploring. To fast travel between them, open the map by pressing Square on PlayStation or X on Xbox, then press Triangle/Y to open the Map List. Here, you’ll find a list of the areas you can fast travel to.

The Map List is separated by region, and you can go even further by selecting the individual areas found within each region to bring up area-specific maps.

This fast travel menu will also indicate whether or not there are quests waiting to be completed in each area in Tales of Arise. Sub-Quests are indicated by the envelope icon, which can be seen next to Viscint in the image above.

Fast travel points are usually found in major cities and towns, at campsites, and at the entrances to dungeons. They’re indicated by small green icons on the map that stands out against the mostly brown backgrounds.

Keep in mind that you won’t always be able to fast travel whenever you want. Depending on what’s happening in the story, fast travel may become temporarily unavailable.
