The inventory limit before completing the main story in Stranger of Paradise is 500 items. This might sound like a lot, but this game throws loot at you like it’s a parade. Running out of space during a mission isn’t good because in a panic to free up space you might discard something actually good and this method doesn’t get you upgrade materials. Don’t worry, we’re here to help you with how to dismantle gear in Stranger of Paradise.
How to Dismantle Gear in Stranger of Paradise
The biggest drawback to getting to dismantle gear in Stranger of Paradise is that it can’t be done while in a mission. This leaves you with either the choice to store things away or discard them. The former isn’t a bad option, but does require you to return to the Cubes which could possibly mean whatever dropped will be gone when you return. On the other hand, discarding is quick but you miss out on the materials that you could’ve gained from getting rid of a piece of gear the right way.
There is less of a worry in this after beating the story as the inventory limit climbs to 4500, but it is best to start doing this early.
