Spyro Reignited Trilogy: How to Save

How to Save in Spyro Reignited Trilogy

Recommended Videos

In games of all types, saving your progress works a little differently nowadays to how it did back when the first Spyro game released. For the most part, it’s all a little more forgiving. Here’s everything you need to know about how to save in Spyro Reignited Trilogy.

First of all, it is important to note that saving works the same in each of the three remastered titles. You won’t have to deal with trying to work out how to save in each of the three games.

Also, it is important to know that there is no manual save option in the Spyro Reignited Trilogy. If you want to save your progress, you will have to make sure that you’re aware of when it is autosaving.

Thankfully, though, the game is pretty generous with its autosaving, in line with the child friendly nature of the gameplay.

All three of the titles in the package save automatically whenever you enter a new level, return to one of the hub worlds, or reach a checkpoint during a level. A checkpoint is shown by a dragon statue, so they’re pretty easy to spot when you need one.

Also, you’ll be able to spot when you save in the Spyro Reignited Trilogy quite easily. In the bottom right of the screen, in all three games, you’ll see a little purple silhouette of Spyro himself.

Simply wait for that to disappear from the screen and you’ll be able to rest safely, knowing that your progress have saved successfully.

That’s all there is to know about how to save in Spyro Reignited Trilogy. For more tips and tricks on the game, be sure to search for Twinfinite. Or, check out some handy guides that we’ve listen for your convenience below.
