Cooking in Spiritfarer is an activity you’ll be doing rather frequently. The spirits you travel with regularly get hungry and they all have their own preferences for meals. Sometimes they’ll request a specific dish and one of them will be fried chicken. So, here’s everything you need to know about how to get fried chicken in Spiritfarer.
Getting Fried Chicken in Spiritfarer
Fried chicken is a recipe you can either discover on your own or be taught. The latter will most likely be the case because, as apart of his questline, Atul will request that you make the dish.
Luckily, he gives you the recipe so you don’t need to spend time figuring out the right combination of ingredients. For the recipe, fried chicken requires chicken and fat. You’ll also need the upgraded Kitchen for this to work.
While chicken is an ingredient all on its own, fat is a category that includes a couple of ingredients. We’ve already put together a guide on how to get fat but you essentially need to crush olives or sunflower seeds in the Crusher to get their oil.
The concept of the Crusher is apart of Bruce and Mickey’s questline so you’ll probably come across the building this way.
To get chicken, you simply need to travel to Nordweiler up in the northern part of the map. One of the Raccoon Inc. stores right by the entrance to the location sells the meat and you can just buy it off of him.
However, to get to Nordweiler, you’ll need to have upgraded your ship with the Icebreaker. The entire northern section of the map is blocked by ice and you’ll need the specific upgrade from Albert’s Shipyard to travel here.
Once you acquire the chicken and crush either olives or sunflower seeds to get their oil, you need to combine either one with raw chicken in the oven. Give it a bit of time and out pops fried chicken.
Since this is a bit of a process, here’s a step by step
- Travel to Nordweiler
- Purchase chicken from the Raccoon Inc. store there
- Crush olives or sunflower seeds in the Crusher to get olive oil or sunflower oil
- Put either olive oil or sunflower oil into the oven in the Kitchen with raw chicken
