Just like many other games out there right now, as you progress through Spider-Man PS4, you’ll begin to level up Spidey, enabling him to learn new skills and abilities, as well as stand a better chance in general against tougher enemies.
As such, chances are you’re wondering how to level up fast, not only so that you can have all the sweet unlocks that come with it, but probably for the bragging rights, too.
First and foremost, let’s start off with the most obvious way to level up quickly in the game. One of the best ways to get XP in the game is to simply complete its main missions.
Completing one of these tends to be enough to see your XP gauge fill significantly, if not entirely. If you’re desperate to get those experience points, and the next main mission is something you can complete, go ahead and do it.
If that’s not enough, or you’re looking for a little less obvious method to level up fast, try becoming a bit more advanced with your combat. Chaining combos together, using a variety of different attacks, moves, and takedowns will net you a greater amount of XP, and Focus, too.
Another nice and easy way to do this also is to check out the Benchmarks that can be found by pressing the touchpad and tabbing over to the self-titled tab. Benchmarks are essentially the game’s equivalent to Call of Duty’s Challenges, requiring you to rack up total distances wall running, or swinging faster than a set speed for a total of 600 seconds.
Check in on these and see if there are any you can easily boost, or are just close to completing. Always have Benchmarks in mind when doing anything in Spider-Man PS4, as doing so will normally mean you can earn additional XP from them, while you go about doing something to earn XP. It’s a winner winner!
If you’re looking for other ways to boost the amount of XP you’re earning as you go, you’ve come to the right place. First off, you’ll want to craft the Combat Analyzer suit mod when you’re able to in the game and equip it to your suit.
This grants additional XP from defeating enemies, which, considering you’re often fighting off bad guys, will add up quickly.
The Air Tricks skill is another you’ll want to grab if you want to focus experience points on. This enables you to pull off fancy tricks as you’re sailing through the skies. Simply press Triangle and Circle once you’ve unlocked it, and use the left analog stick to perform tricks in different directions.
By successfully completing tricks, you’ll earn additional XP and Focus. And a good little trophy.
Finally, Spider-Man PS4’s side missions also often have a chunk of XP tied to completing them, and they’re pretty fun, too, so if you’re dying to get to the max level cap in the game, you’ll definitely want to complete all of them.
