How to Safely Stop a Car Chase in Spider-Man PS4

Recommended Videos

Spider-Man games have often seen players taking on the role of the web-slinger as best as can be simulated. Around the open-world of these games, there have often been situations that players could choose to ignore or choose to stop a serious crime being committed. In Spider-Man PS4, players will sometimes be tasked with stopping a racing car as it plows through the streets. Here’s how to safely stop a car chase and get as many crime tokens as possible in Spider-Man PS4.

First and foremost, you need to get on that car! This can be done by catching up to it, of course, but they go really fast. You may have an easier time simply landing on the cars chasing it.

This can be done by hitting L2 and R2 at the same time while aiming at the cop car and being close enough to zip to it.

Once you’re on that police vehicle, you have to aim at the car you’re chasing and press Triangle.

This will lead Spider-Man to zip on over to the criminals. Then, you’re going to want to take them out one by one. Move Spidey over to the right and hit Square when the command appears (usually right after a criminal has stuck themselves out the window to shoot you). Rinse and repeat this for every passenger in the vehicle.

Once you’ve gotten ’em all, get ready for another QTE where you will need to mash the Square button. I recommend to already be pressing it over over while the cutscene of Spidey kicking the driver out is going on.

This will give you a head-start and not take you by surprise, since it’s pretty hard as a QTE. If done well, you’ll be rewarded with extra crime tokens. If you fail, he’ll get hurt, but the crime will still be stopped.

That’s how you safely stop a car chase in Spider-Man for the PS4. If you need any other help with the game, maybe check out our expanding wiki page for the game.
