After a brief layoff in the fourth iteration of the Smash Bros series, story mode is making its triumphant return in Super Smash Bros Ultimate, this time coming in the form of World of Light. Here’s what you need to know about how to play World of Light in Super Smash Bros Ultimate.

It is a robust, fully fledged adventure mode that sees you traveling the map to revive fallen allies, and it stars none other than everyone’s favorite pink piece of fluff, Kirby.

So you’ve probably seen the opening cinematic in Smash Bros Ultimate, maybe shed a tear or two when your main got nuked, and now you want to get into the action yourself. The only issue you may be having, however, is working out where in the heck you actually access this fantastic new mode.

To play World of Light in Smash Bros Ultimate, you’ll want to select the Spirits tab in the main menu. There, you will find an option for Adventure Mode; this is where World of Light is actually located.

Just press on that, and you’ll be ready and raring to go. As you might anticipate, all other Spirit-related goodies are also found under the Spirits tab, in case you wanted to check your collection or some such.

There you have it! That’s all you’ll need to play World of Light in Smash Bros Ultimate, but there is of course loads more to learn about the biggest release on the Nintendo Switch in 2018.

If you want more tips, tricks, hints and tilts, you’ll definitely want to take a look at Twinfinite’s Super Smash Bros Ultimate guide wiki! It’s jam packed with character guides, strategies and techniques that will take you from Smash Sap to Smash Champ.

It’s filled with guides on how to unlock all characterswhat the install size is, how to play as new characters such as RidleyIncineroar, and Inkling, as well as how to get spirit pointshow to level up spirits and how many spirits there are.

It’s being updated every day, and remember, if you want to see something that isn’t there, let us know in the comments! It’s the only way I’ll get to write the Ivysaur master guide I so desperately want to do.
