How to Bug Sims in Sims 4 Strangerville

The latest expansion pack, Strangerville, lets you pull off a handful of new pranks and schemes. One of the latest features added in is the ability to spy on other Sims. If you’re having trouble doing it, here’s how to bug Sims in Sims 4 Strangerville.

Placing a bug on another Sim is a great way to eavesdrop on their conversations with others. While this feature plays a part in the new storyline, you can also use it to increase your logic and make a small profit in the process.

Before you can even thinking about opening up your own spy business, however, you’ll first need to purchase the Sims 4 Strangerville expansion pack. You can go around bugging others without it because the tool you need is actually a new item in the pack.

If you do have the Strangerville expansion, open up Buy mode and purchase the listening device. Set this up in your home and examine it to buy the 51M5 Spy Bugs you can use on your fellow Sims. You can also buy the bugging tool at the small shop near the crash site, but you’ll still need the listening device to pull this off. These cost 25 Simoleons a pop, so it isn’t that pricey.

Once you have the 51M5 spy tool, your character can interact with another Sim and plant it on them. From there, simply use the listening device to pick up evidence or any juicy gossip you can use as blackmail. Some Sims will mention theft, and you can use that audio recording against them to earn some quick Simoleons in Sims 4.

That’s about everything you need to know about how to bug sims in Sims 4 Strangerville. If you’re looking for more tips and tricks on the game, be sure to search for Twinfinite.
