Lights Out! Will There Be A New Dark Mode Feature in Sims 4?

At the moment, there is no clearcut answer on whether a dark mode will be added to

The Sims 4 has been continuously improving the game with the Neighborhood Stories update and packs like My Wedding Stories. A dark mode feature could possibly be in the works for the latest upcoming patch for the game. Maxis Studios hinting towards this mode comes from The Sims Twitter profile image now being set to a darker tone with the iconic Plumbob lit up.

The profile image isn’t the only thing to change; the banner has also been updated with the sentence: “This Season It’s Lights Out.” This suggests the dark mode fans have wanted since this theme would make it easier on the eyes when playing at night.

With the banner and the profile image being switched over to a new tone, a dark mode feature is definitely a possibility. Mods have previously made a mode like this, and players have approved of it with its many installments into the game. Maxis Studios may be jumping on board by finally adding this theme without the modifications.

This new possible feature is still rumored to be true, but hopefully, fans will get to stay up with the game’s dark mode in the future. As more teasers, hints, and other content come up, stay up to date on Twinfinite on the latest Sims news.
