How to Get Charisma in Sims 4

Recommended Videos

Although not quite as important as it was in previous games, Charisma remains a very important Skill in Sims 4. Sims with a high score will make friends quickly, and higher scores also open more power social interactions. Here’s how to get Charisma in Sims 4.

This stat affects all social interactions in Sims 4, including Romantic/Woo Hoo situations. Sims who struggle to form romantic bonds are in particular need, as this will give them a better chance of successfully asking Sims on dates, attempting to kiss them, etc.

The best way to quickly get Charisma is to have a Sim interact with a mirror using “Practice Speech.”

Before we explain that, though, it’s worth familiarizing yourself with the object interaction called “Psych Up” first. This triggers the Confident Emotion for four hours. The stacked effect in combination with “Practice Speech” will get you much faster gains for your sim when speaking in conversation.

Assuming a Sim has at least some Charisma, it will automatically gain the skill passively by speaking in social situations. Still, this can take time, because Sims do not gain the skill while listening in a conversation. Stacking with confidence, therefore, speeds the process up.

But there’s an even faster and more effective method: having your Sim interact with a mirror and effectively talk to itself with “Practice Speech.”

As an alternative method, if your Sim is a bookworm they can gain the skill by reading Charisma Vol.1, which can be purchased a bookcase under Skill Sets (the icon is a hammer).

That’s all the information you should need about how to get Charisma in Sims 4. For more guides and tips on the game, be sure to search Twinfinite.
