How to Dodge & Parry in Sifu
Time needed: 1 minute
How to Dodge & Parry in Sifu:
- To dodge, you’ll need to press the R2 button and the directional stick in the opposite area your opponent is attacking.
This move won’t work on some enemy attacks, like throws, if you’re too close.
- To Block/Guard, hold down the L1 button.
Keep in mind that you can only take so much damage when in this mode, and that your guard can be broken, as indicated by the bar near the top of the screen.
- Press L1 as soon as your opponent are about to connect their attack to disrupt their combo. You’ll also notice when they change their attack position when their limbs light up.
Deflecting/Parrying is the most difficult of all of these moves, as it requires precise timing and location, otherwise, you’ll get hit. Certain moves also can’t be stopped with a parry.
