How Many Bosses There Are in Sekiro
First and foremost, let’s cut to the chase. If you’re looking for the biggest, baddest bosses in the game, you’ll find 13 waiting to be taken on. These are all listed down below:
- Gyoubu Masataka Oniwa
- Lady Butterfly

All Mini-Bosses
Outside of these, there are other mini-bosses in Sekiro. Though they don’t tend to pose quite as much of a challenge as the main bosses listed above, they’ll still pose more of a challenge than your average minion enemy. We’ve listed all 28 of these slightly less punishing enemies you’ll encounter in Sekiro down below.
- Leader Shigenori Yamauchi
- General Naomori Kawarada
- Chained Ogre
- General Tenzen Yamauchi
- Headless
- Shinobi Hunter Enshin of Misen
- Juzou the Drunkard
- Blazing Bull
- Armored Warrior
- Long Arm Centipede Sen-Un
- Lone Shadow Longswordsman
- General Kuranosuke Matsumoto
- Seven Ashina Spears – Shikibu Toshikatsu Yamauchi

- Lone Shadow Vilehand
- Long-Arm Centipede Giraffe
- Shigekichi of the Red Guard
- Sakura Bull of the Palace
- Lone Shadow Masanaga the Spear-Bearer
- Great Serpent
- Headless Ape
It’s worth noting that some of these, such as Seven Ashina Spears, have two different instances in which you’ll take them on. Similarly, Headless Ape is actually a continuation of the Guardian Ape battle, so while it is its own fight in a way, it’s not quite as lengthy as others such as O’Rin of the Water.
