Where to Watch Riverdale Season 2
Riverdale has accrued a fairly strong following since it debuted on screens early last year. Providing viewers with a subversive take on Archie and his friends from the popular comic series, fans get to see the day-to-day lives of Archie, Jughead, Veronica, and more, all the while uncovering the dark and sinister events going on in the town out of sight. As such, it’s a pretty great binge-worthy show to watch, and with Riverdale Season 2 coming to a close, some fans may be ready to jump into the action.
Riverdale Season 2 has been airing every Wednesday on The CW at 8 p.m. ET. However, if you’ve not been keeping up or just don’t have access to this channel, you can always watch the latest episode for free via The CW website or its app.
You have a few options to watch Riverdale Season 2 live on streaming services. The first is Hulu’s Live TV membership which comes in at $39.99 a month, but opens up a bunch more of Hulu’s on-demand content. However, The CW’s live content via Hulu Live is currently only available in the following locations, and you can only watch each episode as and when it’s on-air:
- Atlanta
- Detroit
- Pittsburgh
- Philadelphia
- Sacramento
- San Francisco
- Seattle
- Tampa
If you’re not in any of those locations, you can always stream The CW’s content live via a combination of YouTube TV and DirecTV Live subscriptions, costing $40 and $35 a month respectively. Failing that, you’ve always got the option to rent episodes via iTunes or Amazon for either $1.99 or $2.99 depending on whether you want standard or high definition files.
Unfortunately, Netflix won’t be getting Riverdale Season 2 in the US for all of your convenient streaming needs until sometime later this year, so if you’ve missed an episode already, you’ll have to pay to catch back up.
As for any UK Riverdale fans we’ve got, simply pop onto Netflix right now and the entirety of Season 1 and all of Season 2 so far are available for you to watch online. New episodes release every Thursday, the day after they’ve aired in the US.
