Solving the Train Puzzle in Resident Evil 3 Remake

After powering up the tracks in the Subway Power Station, Jill is tasked with inputting the correct route from the Subway Office so that the train can get to inside the Subway Control Room.

However, since some of the stations on the way are blocked, this requires you to match the correct track lines with the stations, according to which route is clear at each one.

Each station is abbreviated into two letters — Redstone Street is RE, for example. And each track is denoted with the switch on the right. You can move all of these by selecting them and pressing the action button.

These are the codes to solve the train puzzle in Resident Evil 3:

  • RE-01
  • FA-02
  • RA-03
  • SA-02
  • FO-01

The trick to this Resident Evil 3 train puzzle is not to focus too much on the above map and instead refer to the electronic one that’s actually on the wall of the office in front of the control column (see below).

It’s much clearer and you should be able to work out pretty quickly what to punch in. But if not, the correct sequence is entered in both the above and below images.

That is everything you’ll need to know about how to beat the Subway Station Route Puzzle in Resident Evil 3 Remake. Jill, Carlos, and the rest of the UBCS can now get the civilians out of Raccoon City, so head back to the Subway car and make your exit.
