Getting the Grenade Launcher in Resident Evil 3

The grenade launcher is one of the most iconic weapons in the series, so of course you’ll be able to get your hands on it in this game. You’ll find it about halfway through the story, when Jill enters the Sewers area. Once you get through the initial bit in the Sewers and slide down the ramp, follow the linear path until you eventually reach a fork.

The right path will take you deeper into the Sewers where you’ll start facing off against the terrifying Hunters, but take the left path all the way to the end and you’ll eventually reach the Office save room.

Go up the short ladder and enter the Office, and you’ll find the MGL Grenade Launcher sitting on the table next to the typewriter. Grab it, along with the rounds nearby and save your game.

The launcher is pretty useful for taking down the Hunters, and one Flame or Explosive Round should do the trick, if you aim straight at their mouth as they charge at you.

The launcher is also handy for large groups of enemies, and Nemesis himself, if you have Mine and Flame Rounds. It’s possible to craft Rounds for it, but you’ll still want to be a little conservative with your ammo.

That’s all you need to know about how to get the grenade launcher in Resident Evil 3. Be sure to search Twinfinite’s guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
