Resident Evil 3 has finally arrived on the PS4, Xbox One and PC following the success of the Resident Evil 2 remake last year (claiming our very own GOTY 2019 award). Here’s what the Resident Evil 3 install size is on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Resident Evil 3 Install Size on PS4, Xbox One & PC

Resident Evil 3 isn’t quite as big as you might expect it to be, with all the flashy visual upgrades and enhancements that have been made to make it feel like a current-gen experience, rather than something from the ’90s.

That being said, picking up the game will net you the single-player experience, as well as the multiplayer Resident Evil Resistance game as well. You don’t have to have both of these installed as part of the installation process, so if you don’t think you’ll play Resistance, you can ignore the install sizes we’ve listed a bit further down for that and just focus on those directly below.

Note: Unfortunately for PC, at this moment in time we can only provide the minimum required hard drive space required to download both Resident Evil 3 and the multiplayer game, Resident Evil Resistance.

All Resident Evil 3 download and install sizes are listed below:

  • PS4: 23.81 GB
  • Xbox One: 21.7 GB
  • PC: 45 GB Minimum Required Space

Weirdly enough, across all platforms you’ll actually find that Resident Evil Resistance takes up more space on your hard drive than the single-player experience, albeit only by a fraction.

  • PS4: 23.99 GB
  • Xbox One: 22.7 GB
  • PC: 45 GB Minimum Required Space
