Is Resident Evil 2 Remake Coming to Nintendo Switch?
The Resident Evil 2 Remake is slated to launch next year, and we’ve just gotten our first look at the game. From the trailer alone, it seems like Capcom is taking the survival horror route once again, scaring players with blood-curdling zombies and other horrific creatures in Raccoon City. Since the game is releasing on different platforms, one questions fans might have is if the Resident Evil 2 Remake is coming to the Nintendo Switch.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like Capcom has any plans for bringing the survival horror game over to the Nintendo console. In fact, the official Capcom website states that it’s heading to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC only. The developers have yet to comment whether the Resident Evil 2 Remake will be coming to the Nintendo Switch, but we’ll update this post if ever they decide to port it over.
It’s worth noting, however, that both Revelations games were ported over to the Nintendo Switch last year. On top of that, Capcom even brought Resident Evil 7 to the said platform via a cloud-streaming service in Japan. If anything, the developers could use the same subscription-based service to bring over the game to the Switch if there are any technical difficulties with porting it over.
