The precinct that you need to explore in Resident Evil 2 is very complex. It’s full of doors to unlock and puzzles to solve, as well as zombies to kill. You’ll need to find keys of particular shapes throughout the game. Here’s everything you need to know about how to get the Diamond Key in Resident Evil 2.

The Diamond Key is found in the Morgue, after you get out of the main station with the three medallions. However, it’s not as simple as just picking it up.

Once you get to the Morgue, you’ll need to check the storage on the left wall. The second space from the left on that wall contains a zombie that has the Diamond Key next to it. See, not just a case of picking it up.

Once you bend down to pick it up, the zombie will wake up. That not the only one you need to worry about though, as more zombies will enter the Morgue and will ambush you. Take them all out and you’ll be able to escape with the Diamond Key.

The key opens the Linen Room in the station, as well as a side room in the Firing Range. Also, if you are playing as Claire, the Diamond Key opens up an additional side room in the parking garage that grants access to the lift in Chief Irons’ office.
