Due to the procedurally generated nature of the game, sometimes a little bit of luck is required to get the complete set of armor. Remember, you can always reset your world-state from the main menu.

Best Armour Sets in Remnant From the Ashes

Drifter’s Set

The Drifter’s set is a solid choice for an early game armor set for a few different reasons. Its Wanderer ability reduces stamina usage by 10% for each piece equipped, which is very forgiving for new players.

More importantly, though, is the fact that it can be found from the very beginning of the game in a static location. The headpiece is a random drop in Earth dungeons, but the legs and chest pieces are always in the same place.

You can find them in the Founder’s Hideout. Break the bookcase in the corner, and follow the stairs up to the hidden room. The Drifter’s Set is on a stand to the side of the room.

Osseous Set

The Osseous set is designed for offensive play styles, but really, everyone could use a little extra damage output, right?

Each piece equipped increases your total damage output to 7%, 15%, or 25% respectively, depending on how many pieces you have equipped.

The Osseous set is also easy to obtain. When you reach Rohm, the second world, seek out the Wasteland Merchant. He will offer to sell you secrets for 100 scraps, simply buy all of the secrets and he will make the entire set available for purchase.

Twisted Set

The Twisted set is a wild-looking suit of armor that comes with a very powerful ability that is always handy to have.

The Regrowth ability constantly heals your HP, at rates of 0.15, 0.23 and 0.33 per second depending on how many pieces are equipped. This won’t make you invincible, but it will certainly make you harder to kill.

The Twisted set is obtained by completing the Gallows, which is a dungeon that can spawn after the church area on Earth. Simply survive the Root onslaught, and you will be able to forge the set at a Root altar inside.

The beauty of the design of Remnant is that every set is viable, and it really comes down to what kind of ability is most viable to you and your own playstyle.

Hopefully, this will have given you some idea of what the best armor in Remnant can do for you. Be sure to check out some of our other helpful guides like:
