Is Red Dead Redemption 2 Coming to PC? What You Need to Know
With Rockstar Games’ Red Dead Redemption 2 due to release worldwide in Fall 2017, players are already grabbing their cowboy hats and preparing to head back into the Wild West. Red Dead Redemption 2 has been at the top of many players’ wishlists ever since they finished the first game, so many players will be wondering if the game is coming to PC. Here’s what you need to know about Red Dead Redemption 2 coming to PC.
Unfortunately, at this moment in time Red Dead Redemption 2 isn’t coming to PC when the game originally hits shelves. According to the game’s trailers, the game is set to release on PS4 and Xbox One only on October 25, 2018.
While this is certainly a concern for those wanting to play the game on the platform, it doesn’t mean we’ll never see it happen. After all, Grand Theft Auto V eventually made its way to PC after the console releases. We may just need to wait a little while until it does.
It’ll be worth it, though, with all the mods we’ll be able to play with.
It’s disappointing that it currently seems like Red Dead Redemption 2 won’t be launching on the popular platform at the same time as the console releases (if at all), but all we can do is cross our fingers and hope for the best. If Rockstar Games makes any announcement regarding the release of a PC version, we’ll be sure to update this post and let you know.
