Where to Find Gunslingers & What You Get in Red Dead Redemption 2

Recommended Videos

Apart from the main quest, there are dozens of other missions you can take up in Red Dead Redemption 2. If you’re feeling up for it, you can track down and challenge some powerful foes in the Gunslinger side quests. Here’s where to find all of the Gunslinger locations in Red Dead Redemption 2.

There are a total of five different opponents you have to duel and photograph, with all of them scattered across the open world. Before you can start the Gunslinger side quest in Red Dead Redemption 2, you’ll have to head over to the smaller saloon in Valentine.

Once you’re there, talk to the writer at the bar, who will tell you some story about the Gunslingers. After he’s done talking, he will hand you images of each Gunslinger, which you can examine for clues as to where they are. That said, here’s where to find all gunslingers in Red Dead Redemption 2.

Black Belle Gunslinger Locations

You can find Black Belle around Bluewater Marsh, which is a location near Rhodes. Once you find her cabin in that area, she’ll ask for your help in protecting the area from bounty hunters in Red Dead Redemption 2.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Gunslingers

Just help her take out the incoming enemies, which will spawn in waves. It’ll be a tough battle, especially when the enemies whip out their Gatling gun wagon, so make sure to take out any enemies using that weapon first before focusing on the rest. When you’re done helping her, take her picture and head into the shack to find a Cigarette Card.

Emmet Granger Gunslinger Locations

You can find Emmet Granger near Flatneck Station, which should be around Flat Iron Lake. Before you can duel him, you’ll have to clean his hog pen first. Once you manage to kill him, simply take a photo of his corpse and look for the other Gunslingers in Red Dead Redemption 2.

Flaco Hernandez Gunslinger Locations

This particular Gunslinger in Red Dead Redemption 2 is located high above the mountains due north of Grizzlies West. When you find him, he’ll be surrounded by his well-armed gang. You can either take them out or just threaten them, but you’ll eventually come face to face with Flaco.

Like with Emmet, you’ll have to duel Flaco and take a picture of his corpse to clear the quest. You can also take Flaco’s Revolver after your duel as your spoils of war, which can be found by his body on the floor.

Billy Midnight Gunslinger Locations

To find Billy Midnight, you have to travel to the Rhodes Train Station. Upon arriving, you’ll want to board the next train and travel through each compartment until you find him at a bar.

Finding him will then prompt a chase scene which ends on the top of the train itself. You’ll have to duel the Gunslinger there and then, so make sure not to fall off. Once you’ve killed him, take his photo and Midnight’s Pistol before heading out.

Slim Grant Gunslinger Locations

The fifth and final Gunslinger in Red Dead Redemption 2 unlocks during Chapter 4 and only after you’ve taken everyone else’s picture. After heading back to Valentine, you’ll realize that the author isn’t there.

You will then want to travel to the Grand Korrigan in Saint Denis, where you’ll learn about Slim Grant – the last Gunslinger. Go to Annesburg and talk to the sheriff to discover his whereabouts in Red Dead Redemption 2, which is at a bandit camp near Kamasa River.

When you’re finally at the area, rescue Slim Grant from the bandits and take him to the location on your map to finish the Gunslinger quest in Red Dead Redemption 2.
