How to Sell Horses in Red Dead Online

Recommended Videos

Red Dead Online is finally here, bringing the Wild West online for all of you and your friends to enjoy. Just like GTA Online before it, this experience carries over plenty of things from the base game, adding a multiplayer flavor. Here is everything you need to know about how to sell horses in Red Dead Online.

Just like in Red Dead Redemption 2’s single player, horses will be vital to traversing the lands. In order to get new ones though, you’ll need to make room in your stable, which can be done by selling previous horses.

Selling Your Horse

The first thing you’ll have to do to sell your horse is stable it. Once you do, head over to any stable in the game and choose the Manage Owned Horses option.

Once inside the Managed Owned Horses screen, you’ll see an option to sell your horse. You’ll see the amount of money that selling it will net you before you even chose to do it.

It should be noted that once you decide to sell your horse, not only can you not get it back, but it will not ask you if you are sure once you decide to do so. All decisions are final, so be sure you definitely want to sell before pressing that button!

If you are certain you want to sell your horse, simply press square on PS4 and X on Xbox One.

That’s pretty much all you need to know about where to sell your horses in Red Dead Online in order to get money and free up your stable.
