Leaning When Aiming Down Sights in Rainbow Six Extraction

To lean in Rainbow Six Extraction, you’ll need to be aiming down your weapon’s sights by pressing LT/L2.

When you’ve done this, all you need to do is press in the left analog stick (L3) to lean to your left, and press in the right analog stick (R3) to lean to your right.

By using this, you’ll be able to peek around corners and get an enemy in your sights, without having to come entirely out of cover and give away your position. The Archaeans have a keen sense of sight, so doing everything you can to stay off their radar is paramount to success.

To stop leaning when aiming down sights, simply press L3 or R3 again. If you’re leaning to the left, pressing L3 will return you to your upright position. Leaning to the right, press R3 to go back to your default stance. If you press R3 when leaning left, you’ll start leaning right, and vice-versa.

Now you’re all set to go lean around corners to your heart’s content. Enjoy!
