When PUBG mobile-first released, it was actually impossible to change your name. That meant that whatever name you picked, was yours forever, typos and all.

How to Change Your Name in PUBG Mobile

Since it has been out for a bit now,  PUBG Corporation has responded to player feedback and added the ability to actually change names. In order to do so, all you’ll need to do is use the option known as Rename Card.

Rename Cards can either be won via doing well in games and leveling up or by purchasing in the item shop for $5. Once you unlock a Rename Card, go to the bottom of the screen and open the inventory option of the main menu.

Next, click on the create option and you’ll see an icon for the Rename Card available as long as it has been unlocked. Tap Use and a prompt to enter a new name will appear. Once you hit OK, your name will officially be changed.

Keep in mind that, regardless of how many Rename Cards you have, you can only change your name in PUBG Mobile once a day.
