How to Play First Person Mode in PUBG Mobile

Recommended Videos

Now that the battle royale genre has begun to take over the mobile space as well as PC and consoles, it should come as no surprise that PUBG Mobile and Fortnite are already on the platform. PUBG Mobile may not graphically compare to its PC counterpart, but it is getting plenty of modes and features to make it a comprehensive gameplay package. One of the latest additions is a first person mode for those wanting a more immersive experience, and it’s coming in the 0.60 update for PUBG Mobile. As such, you’re probably wondering how to play first person mode in PUBG Mobile.

In order to play first person mode in PUBG Mobile, you’ll simply need to select the game mode from the main lobby screen. Under the Start option, you should see a small box that has TPP in it by default. Tap on this to change it to FPP, the first person perspective mode. From there, to the right of the dropdown that says Classic, you’ll see a small silhouette of a person. Tap on this to choose whether you want to play Solo, Duos, or Squads in this new perspective. If you want to revert back to third person at any time, simply head back to that dropdown box and re-select TPP.

It’s worth noting that once you’re in a game, you can’t then change to third person perspective. You’re stuck with the first person perspective until you change your matchmaking settings to one of the standard game modes back at the lobby screen.

That’s pretty much all you need to know to play first person mode in PUBG Mobile. For more on the game, be sure to check out our wiki.
