How to Get More Inventory Space in Prey
Prey uses a grid inventory system which is pretty much exactly like that of the Resident Evil and Deus Ex games. As long as you can work your Tetris magic to make things fit in that rectangle, you can carry them. Unfortunately, even for the most gifted Tetris players, it’s easy to run out of space for all the things you may want to carry. Inventory space is a very limited commodity, but you can increase it as long as you’re willing to spend the Neuromod points to do so.
There are three upgrades you want to get: Suit Modification I, II, and III. They cost two, four, and six points respectively, so start saving up. You can find them under the Engineer tree. The best part is these same upgrades also unlock Chipset Slots for your suit, allowing you to further customize the perks you receive while exploring Prey’s Talos-I and dealing with the vicious Typhon enemies.
These are the only three inventory space upgrades, so be sure to make the most of it. You’ll still need to do quite a bit of resource management and choosing favorites, but at least you’ll have a bit more breathing room.
That’s all you need to know to get more inventory space in Prey. For more on Prey, be sure to check out our wiki.
